Mr. Spitler joined Dermot in August 2002 and has been at the company for over 20 years. Mr. Spitler led Dermot’s development activities in New York City before relocating to Florida in 2020 to oversee Dermot’s expansion in the region and head the firm’s new office in West Palm Beach. He has been involved with the planning, financing, and construction of approximately $3 billion worth of development in New York City including 21 West End, 66 Rockwell, Hudson Crossing, The Opal, and Clinton Green. Mr. Spitler handled and completed multiple real estate and financial transactions including tax-exempt bond offerings with the New York State Housing Finance Agency, Bank of America, and Fannie Mae.
