What makes us different

There are a number of well-established firms that can develop, or redevelop quality apartment buildings in the better neighborhoods of the most popular cities. We are one of the best of them. We have been active at the highest levels for 30 years, have been doing business in New York City for 15 years and are expanding into the most appealing Southeastern markets. What separates Dermot is our ability to understand the underlying appeal of those neighborhoods, and allocate funds in the construction and operation of our buildings to maximize that appeal. It also enables us to capitalize on market shifts and micro-trends within submarkets.

Our goal is to create and operate that building in each neighborhood that is the truest expression of why people want to live in that area of that city. This may include a core EOS package of services, space and programming, but is always custom fitted to the character of its surrounding neighborhood. As a result, Dermot buildings become platforms for building community within neighborhoods, providing spaces and events that allow people of like interest to enjoy each other’s company.
