What makes us different

There are a number of well-established firms that can develop, or redevelop quality apartment buildings in the better neighborhoods of NYC. We are one of the best of them. Our operating platform is over 25 years old, and we have been doing business in New York City for 15 years. What separates Dermot is our ability to understand the underlying appeal of those neighborhoods, and allocate funds in the construction and operation of our buildings to maximize that appeal. It also enables us to capitalize on market shifts and

micro-trends within New York’s submarkets. Our goal is to create and operate that building in each neighborhood that is the truest expression of why people want to live in that area of the city. This may include a core EOS package of services, space and programming, but is always custom fitted to the character of its surrounding neighborhood.
